DISPARATE I

This is the first of the DISPARATE albums created from the 40+ disparate cassette recordings made back in the 90s, using a digital converter (cassette to MP3) and then AI.

State of Grace (inspired by the 1990 film of the same name) and Welcome To The World (about all the world's wars and corrupt politics) were two of the first tracks my band played around with circa. early 90s. These were closely followed by Final Chapter (about man's destruction of the planet through it's own progress and greed) and Oliver (a tormented young man). And the tormented theme continued with Bleed and Overload.

Everybody's Got Something To Say (a song about a war vet's nightmares), and GhostSpiritPlanet I were originally crafted and created in the late 90s by just me and Marky Boy in an old house beneath a motorway flyover; just me, him, a bass and lead guitar and an old Korg keyboard.  Love and Happily Ever After began as guitar pieces Marky Boy was playing around with, though the latter never made it to cassette and was created from the melody that still sits in my head today.

Hope you enjoy!
