More importantly (well, to me, anyway), I've been working on the old songs me and Marky Boy wrote and composed back in the 90s.. You can read on this site that I mentioned maybe getting a producer, maybe even finding a way to get the band back together. None of that was possible. So, I've been using the modern world of AI to bring our old 90s tunes back to life. And I've loved it!
Recreating Nostalgia
I am technologically hopeless. Not afraid of it, just find most of it confusing, fiddly, and a whole load of apps and admin! But here I am using the new world to help me bring the old music back to life.
I pretty much found most of the old lyrics and correlated them to about 70% of what I had on the old cassette recordings (full demos and partials and ideas) and discovered we'd created over 40 songs back in the day - enough for four albums!
4 Disparate Albums
As I write this (July 2025), it's looking like four albums.
The original recordings (and the melodies in my head for those that didn't make it to tape, or the tapes were lost) all recreated using AI.
